SUMMARY:Creativity in Action: Emerson Students and Alumni in Conversation
DESCRIPTION:A creative foundation doesn’t just prepare you for one path—it opens doors you didn’t even know existed. Hear from Emerson alumni who’ve taken the creative mindset they built at Emerson and applied it in unexpected industries\, careers\, and ventures. After short alumni talks\, the conversation continues in alumni-led small groups where you can connect\, swap ideas\, and explore how creativity helps you adapt\, collaborate\, and uncover new opportunities long after graduation. Come for the stories\, leave with new ideas\, new connections\, and a fresh take on where creativity can lead.

SUMMARY:Unlocking AI for Creative Entrepreneurs
DESCRIPTION:We were joined by entrepreneur and AI educator Fabian Schmidt for an interactive workshop designed to help Emerson students explore the intersection of creativity and artificial intelligence. Across this 60–120 minute workshop\, Fabian broke down how AI works\, demonstrated real tools used in creative industries\, and shared practical strategies for applying AI to storytelling\, idea generation\, research\, and entrepreneurial projects. Students also learned the foundations of effective prompt engineering and gained a clear framework for responsible and ethical AI use. \nDrawing on his experience as one of Germany’s youngest university lecturers and as a shareholder in multiple ventures across Europe and the U.S.\, Fabian delivered a session that was both accessible and deeply relevant. The event concluded with an open Q&A\, giving students the chance to connect the material to their own creative and entrepreneurial journeys and walk away with concrete\, actionable insights. \n  \n
